Kiwanis Awards Carbon Hill High Students With Scholarships
During Monday's meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Jasper, three Kiwanis Club scholarships were awarded to recent high school graduates, Haigan Usrey and Mason Scruggs of Carbon Hill High School.

The Oakman Wildcat Band received all Superior Ratings at the Bobcat Classic in Phil Campbell, the band was also awarded Best in Class 2A Gold Band as well!

Curry participated in the Winfield Pirate Classic and received all excellent and superior ratings along with best in class majorettes and drum major.

Walker County District CNP Director, Janell Aultman, was recognized for receiving the Child and Adult Care Food Program designation. Mrs. Aultman is one of only 2 CNP Directors to have been awarded this in the state of Alabama.
